About Me

Hello, I am an award winning writer/director with ten years professional experience. A visual storyteller inspired by science, myths and psychology.

I graduated with a First BA Hons Degree from The Northern Film School. In Leeds I started company LITTLE NORTHERN LIGHT and co-founded Production Company LEFT EYE BLIND, through which she directed a number of promos and commercials and in 2009 they signed to ACADEMY FILMS.

This year I won £25,000 through The Pitch at Pinewood to make my sci-fi short film “Pulsar”. The film stars David Gyasi (Interstellar) and is currently in production with Reel Issue Films.

My first short film “Shades of Living” was commissioned by Vision & Media with UKFC funding made in partnership with Finite Productions. The film screened at film festivals internationally; including Sarasota, The Smalls and Toronto and was subsequently signed by Shorts International.

Following shortly I was one of eight international winners for the Nokia Shorts Vimeo contest subsequent funding produced short sci-fi period drama “Daniel”. Filmed exclusively on the Nokia N8 phone and premièred at the Edinburgh Film Festival on closing night.

Further short film funding of 10K was won through a panel pitch securing The EPIC Award to make “Life on the Line” currently on it’s festival run. Have a look behind the scenes.
